Two weeks have passed and we are again in our beloved venue Glencorse house! This time we had beautiful couple Katherine and Harry with their families and friends which are also army soldiers. Boys and girls were getting ready in the lovely Gorton House & Cottages. The day started with a little clouds on the sky but the weather seems to heat up every minute. By the time we head to the Glencorse Kirk, where the ceremony was about to start, sun was shining bright! And how not love this place when every time we work here there weather is just on the spot!
It was first time for us in this lovely cottage and I must say it’s perfect for up to 10 bridal party. So cosy and beautiful!
Katherine went for soft colors, her dress simple yet classic and so timeless, perfectly matched her style! I couldn’t wait until she put in on!
When your best friends are on this special day around you, it’s lovely to tell them how meaningful it is that they share this day with you!
So Katherine did! No dry eye!
She and her mother also made by themselves small gifts for the girls – the little personalized purses.
Which personally I think it was great idea and very meaningful present! Girls were very surprised and happy!
Katherine also got a wee gift from the girls. It was handmade photo album from their fun hen weekend with personal messages.
Definitely something to keep and cherish for the very long time !
On the other hand boys in the separate room were having a chill time watching Rugby game.
Harry serves in the Royal Army. So he was wearing his uniform on the day.
I think Harry looks very sharp in his uniform.
Then the time came to put the dress on.
On the wedding couples usually gets gifts from their parents which are very meaningful and stays with them for a life time.Very often this gifts are passed through the generation. Katherine got lovely necklace from her mother in law. So her mum put that beautiful pearl necklace on her.
Everyone in the room got so emotional to see Katherine, fully dressed. She looked fresh, beautiful and so innocent.
I really love moments like this above. I believe this kind of pictures truly shows the bond between mother and daughter.
The greatest gift of life is friendship, and Katherine definitely received it.
The father couldn’t be more proud of her daughter!
Harry was very excited and unpatience to see Katherine walking down the aisle. But once she enter the room his face brightened up!
Very emotional vows left everyone in tears.
And now your are Mr. & Mrs!
Signing the papers is one of my favorite part of the ceremony, I can usually see the raw hidden happy emotions which are so sweet.
What an exit that is :)!
The happy couple! It was joy to watch them being so joyful!
After the ceremony Katherine and Harry had relaxed time at the pond near the Glencorse house.
They had wee walk while I was photographing them.
Cakes are my favorite! And this naked cake decorated with strawberries only
and some branches looked as sweet and yummy as it tested! I guess! 😉
Katherine and Harry had great idea for their guest. Instead bringing the gifts they ask them to bring books that they want them to read,
with a personal message to Katherine and Harry.
As a book lover I would defo do this on my wedding day! Oh and I spotted a book about Polish history 😉
After the meal everyone had fun on the sun!
I must say that for a long time I haven’t seen the dance floor packed like on Katherine and Harry’s wedding!
Even when the band had a break it was packed! So much fun! Everyone was so happy for them and enjoyed every minute of it!
Just before we were leaving guests grabbed sparkles and made the last cheers to the married couple! What a great ending of the an amazing day!
I feel so honored to be part of it and share the tears, joy, and meet all of your family and friends!
May your life be as wonderful as your wedding day from start to the end! Once again thank you, thank you for having us!
