For many years I wanted to photograph wedding in Kynkell Byre but non of my couples was getting married there until Louise and Barry. How happy I was when Barry contacted me, not only because of that, but also I knew Louise throug her friend. She was a bridesmaid on her best friend wedding which I documented.
Ok maybe I will sound old fashioned or I’ll sound like I repeat this so many times but I don’t really care. When I see people in love my heart fills with happiness. Louise and Barry have been for many years together and seeing them in love like on the first date it’s a bless!
I loved every minute of this wedding, the moment I arrived in the morning at Fairmount Hotel my finger didn’t leave the shutter button! Louise put a lot of attention to details and oh my gosh – everything was PERFECT! The dress with stunning front from Eleganza Sposa, her head piece to die for! and the shoes which made stunning addition to her look. Anyway, I think whatever Louise would wear, she would still look stunning anyway cuz her inner and outer beauty shine through! And that ginger hair! Is it only me that I love them?
I have spend some time with boys in the morning too as they were getting ready in the same hotel which is always great idea! Barry had his best friend and his brother on his side which means a world to him. Truly you can see it during the speeches. He is such a nice lad so it’s so easy to be around him.
Ok Kynkell Byre…. what can I say… Is’s definitely a specific venue and not all the couples will like it, but I think for Louise and Barry it was fantastic! I love working in the venues where it pushes me to take photos which doesn’t lose the mood and scenery. And this venue with such a atmospheric lights is like that. It was a pleasure to work there.
Louise told me before the wedding that she would like to have bad weather on their wedding so people will stay inside, that’s how she liked the venue! Well it was opposite but even with gorgeous weather it was nice to cool yourself down inside and chill or have super fun at beer pong! Two groups of guest – Scottish and Irish (as Barry is from Ireland) had fantastic match 😉 which as far as I remember Scotland won 😉
