I met Heather long long time ago at the Salsa group when we used to dance every week. She was the sweetest girl and we loved our times dancing to the Latin music. Years fly by and life got busier and new priorities took over, we stopped going anymore. Once a while I went to see how things are there but I couldn’t see Heather anymore. I found out that she went travelling.
Few months ago she contacted me saying she’ve been living in US for a while and she met the man of her life and she is getting married in Scotland. What was the biggest surprise that she asked me to document her lovely day. I couldn’t be more happier! She said she always knew who is going to be her wedding photographer and this was the sweetest thing she said to me. So Heather it was my greatest pleasure and honour to be at your wedding! Not only as a photographer but also as a friend. Seeing you this happy, with a men of your life makes me very happy as well. Chris is so charming and gentle. I wish you both never ending love!
Heather and Chris chose Dunglass Estate for their intimate wedding with the closest family and friends. Heather fall in love with the beautiful old Church which provides real Scottish mood. Perfect for Chris’ family who visited Scotland for the first time. We had typical Scottish weather but at last it was dry. I like the fact that there was a bit foggy cuz it gived us some mood into our photos. There was few very special moments during the day, first one of course when Heather’s dad was waiting for her downstairs. No dry eye in the room including me! She looked stunning and her dad couldn’t be more proud. Second – when Chris seen Heather for the first time and the whole traditional ceremony. Third – beautiful speeches which made everyone laugh and cry. And finally – Heather’s made of honour wrote meaningful poem which she read at the end and made Heather speechless.
Yes, I have to admit, it’s so nice to photograph your friend’s wedding, especially if they are one of the kindest people you met!
